Prawn bhuna
Here is a delicious Indian recipe, that is very light and still very satisfying. It is one that we can make for the whole family, because the children love it too.
You need:
500grs North atlantic prawns, you can buy them fresh, but I get them frozen, just thaw them out before cooking.
1 onion, diced
1/2 cm of ginger, grated
1 teaspoon of ground coriander
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 a teaspoon of Turmeric
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
120ml of water
A cup of petit pois or garden peas(frozen or fresh)
A tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves
Make a paste with the garlic, chili powder, tuermeric, tomato puree and water. Fry the onion in the ghee for about 6 minutes, add the ginger for the last minute

Add the coriander and cumin, and let them fry for 30 seconds
Now add a tablespoon of the paste, stir until it dries in the pan
Add another spoon and do the same,
Do this until you have used all the paste.
Add the peas and enough warm water to cover them all
add the prawns after about five minutes. Let them simmer for 2 minutes
Add some coriander leaves
Serve with basmati rice and a vegetable curry , yogurt and some chutney
